About Me
I studied biology with a specialisation in biodiversity conservation and management at the University of Antwerp, graduating in 2014. I then started my PhD research on wild boars in Flanders in collaboration with the Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO), focusing on agricultural damage and distribution patterns.
After defending my dissertation in 2019, I joined the Wildlife Management & Coexistence research team at INBO. My current work focuses on human-wildlife interactions in Flanders, population and distribution modelling and management evaluation of species such as wolf, wild boar, roe deer and beaver. I have extensive expertise in statistical analysis and modelling in R, as well as human dimensions research.
Research Interests
